Hello, I am Richelle Spencer from Fremantle Western Australia. I started dancing at the tender age of 3, but it wasn’t until my late 30’s that I discovered bellydance!
 
My dance passion is Tribal Bellydance. It defines my lifestyle and is what gets me out of bed everyday with a spring in my step and a smile on my face.
 
The attraction to Global Caravan Tribal Bellydance for me, is the feeling of connection with each and every dancer in our dance circle, dancing together improvisationally using a vocabulary of signature movements that feel so beautiful on your body, creating magic and allowing you “to be in the moment” The wonderful sense of community it evokes, the divine feminine connection and the glorious costuming and musical choices we get to dance to.
 
I regularly perform with my dance troupe Soul Sista Tribe,  Gypsy Magick & CPWA locally and regionally all over WA.
I am certified Collective Soul 1 to 5 dancer, Teacher Training Level 1,2 & 3 and Tribal Grooves Master Teacher.
I teach many different classes weekly from *Cogeee Community Centre Hall* including GCTB Beginners, Intermediate, Tribal Grooves, Caravan Project Western Australia.
I can now introduce "Sanctuary" ~ giving opportunities to connect with like-minded women to gather together, to share, to be heard and feel a sense of belonging. Weaving together our stories and our lives. 
It incorporates "Dance Sanctuary" ~ Womens Circle and GCTB workshops, focusing on dance as ritual, to allow women to step into their power and walk and dance on the earth like the goddesses they are.
"Sunset Sanctuary" ~ a fun casual evening of connection & joy. As the sun sets into the ocean we gather to share food, drink, laughter, to dance, create music, share perfomance with and for each other for ~

"Sanctuary Connection Circle" ~ a gathering as close to the new moon as possible,  to share our monthly lunar intentions, oracle & tarot card readings journalling topics and a safe, fun place to chat.
 
In 2017 I was completely honoured and delighted, *(thrilled in fact!) for the invitation to become a member of Global Caravan Dance Company International and the director of Caravan Project Western Australia. A life long dream and aspiration achieved. It has been such a blessing to connect with so many of my beautiful global dance sistas and be acknowledged for my continuing contribution to this beautiful dance format. A heartfelt thank you to Paulette for bestowing this honour on me.

I feel like a conduit to many women, speaking their language and assisting them to find themselves and the sacred feminine within, creating a sistahood built on love and trust, allowing women to be seen, be heard, be loved and nurtured. I embrace fully every woman in circle and encourage them to shine there inner light *bright* x
 
Dance makes me happy, fills my heart with love and joy, grounds me and connects me to other beautiful like-minded spirits. I feel very blessed that dance has been a huge part of my life.
